¹⁸ After they buried him, all Israel ·had a time of sadness [mourned] for him, ·just as the Lord had said [according to the word of the Lord, which he spoke] ·through [^Lby the hand of] his servant, the prophet Ahijah.

¹⁹ Everything else Jeroboam did, his wars and how he ruled, ·is [^Lis it not…?] written in the book of the ·history [chronicles; annals] of the kings of Israel [^Ca history book now lost]. ²⁰ He served [reigned] as king for twenty-two years. Then he ·died [^Llay down/^Tslept with his fathers/ancestors], and his son Nadab ·became king [reigned] in his place.
